Fanlisting?

Fanlistings are places on the web that list all the fans of a particular subject.

A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country.

Count Your Sheep

Count Your Sheep is a very cute (and more than) webcomic (which means it is available on the web; this particular one in strip form) updated every weekday. It is authored by the talented Adrian Ramos, and solely himself. He also goes by the name of Adis. It has indeed come a long way since Wednesday, June 11, 2003 when its first strip was aired.

The Characters

Adis has kept his goal of this comic always having only 3 (visible) characters in the comic, and it is very admirable indeed. The characters include Ship, Katie, and Laurie.

Katie
Katie is a little girl with spunk and strong opinions. She is very optimistic and hopeful about the world, and she wishes to change it for the better. She attends school and has the potential to do extremely well (with her excessive vocabulary and interesting ideals); but she fails to do so because she disagrees with the school system in general. And also because she likes doing her "own thing," and being different from all.

Ship
Ship is, simply put, a sheep. But he's not just a sheep. No sirree. He's a sheep for life. And more. He was previously with Laurie but was passed on to Katie. He claims to be from heaven, and has has several disappearances during the time he was with Laurie. But all in all, he loves them both, and they him (yes, I believe he's male).

Laurie
Laurie is Katie's mom. She's a very strong individual (but not as strong as Katie) and has pulled herself through many hassles, with the help of Ship of course. Generally, she tends to be a little pessimistic with her emotions and rightfully so. She's lost her husband (who appears in the comic, just not visually) and has been through a tough teenage life. Overall however, she's a great mom and an even better friend.

Together the three of them are a family like no other, and want to make your believe. They're funny, cute, and blue! What more could you ask for? And even though you don't, there's more. There's way more. The Count Your Sheep family is a family that anyone can relate to. With problems, and moments, and happiness, and everything.

We thank you, Adis, for creating and maintaining Count Your Sheep and hope to learn from it. And if not, then it'll always be a part of our lives anyway.
